A friendship quiz you can make in a minute
How well do your friends really know you? This friendship quiz lets you find out. You answer ten quick questions about yourself, such as how you reply to messages, which pizza you order or what you would do in a scary movie. Then you send one link to your friends. They guess what you picked, and each of them gets a friendship score out of ten.
Every score lands on a shared scoreboard, so the whole group can see who knows you best. It works as a best friend quiz, a BFF test for your group chat, or a quick game for a partner, a sibling or a class. It is free, there is nothing to install and nobody has to sign up.
How to make your friendship quiz
- Enter your name. Use the name your friends know you by. It appears in every question they see.
- Answer ten questions about yourself. Each one has four answers. Tap the one that is true for you. If a question does not fit, tap Different question to swap it. There are more than 150 to draw from.
- Add your own questions if you like. Tap Write my own question, type the question and four answers, and mark the true one. You can add up to three.
- Share the link. Tap Share my quiz and send it by text, in a group chat or on social media.
- Watch the scoreboard. Come back to this page on the same device. Your friends appear on the board as they finish, and you can tap any name to see exactly what they guessed.
What your friends see
A friend who opens your link types a name and gets your ten questions, one at a time: "Which pizza does Alex order?" After each guess the right answer is shown straight away, so every question is a small reveal. At the end they get their score, a list of what they got right and wrong, and their place on your scoreboard. From there they can make a quiz of their own with one tap, which is how one quiz usually turns into five.
Only the first try counts. Opening the link again shows the result, not a second attempt.
What the friendship score means
- 10Soulmates. A perfect ten. You two share one brain.
- 8–9Best friends. You know each other inside out.
- 6–7Close friends. You get each other, with a few surprises left.
- 4–5Good friends. A solid start, and plenty of fun facts still to find.
- 0–3A new chapter. So much to learn about each other. Time for a long chat.
With four answers per question, pure guessing scores about 2.5 on average. Anything from 6 up means your friend actually knows you. A low score is not a bad friendship test result either: it is ten things to talk about.
40 "how well do you know me" questions

Tips for a quiz that is fun to take
- Answer honestly, not ideally. If your room is a disaster zone, say so. Friends guess the real you.
- Swap out the easy ones. A quiz where everyone scores ten is no fun. Keep a few questions that only close friends would know.
- Write one or two of your own. An inside joke or a shared memory makes the quiz yours, and it sorts best friends from the rest.
- Send it to a group. The scoreboard is where the fun is. Three or more friends make it a contest.
- Take theirs back. Ask each friend to make a quiz too, then compare how well you know them.
A best friend test for any kind of friendship
The questions are about habits, tastes and what-ifs, not about how long you have known each other, so the quiz suits old friends and new ones. People use it as a best friend test before a birthday, as a BFF test in a class group chat, as an ice-breaker for a new team, and as a couples quiz to see who pays more attention. For family it is a good way to find out whether your sibling really knows your pizza order.
Names, scores and privacy
There are no accounts. Your quiz lives in the link you share. When a friend finishes, the name they typed, their score and their guesses are saved so the scoreboard works; anyone with your quiz link can see the names and scores on it. A nickname is fine. See the privacy policy for details.
Frequently asked questions
What is a friendship quiz?
A friendship quiz is a short set of questions about you that your friends answer by guessing what you would say. Here you answer 10 questions about yourself, send one link to your friends, and each friend gets a score out of 10 that shows how well they know you.
How do I make a friendship quiz for my friends?
Type your name, tap Make my quiz and answer 10 quick questions about yourself. You can swap any question for a different one or write up to three of your own. When you finish you get a link to share by text, chat or social media.
Is the friendship quiz free? Do I need an account?
It is free and there is no sign-up, no email and no app to install. Your quiz is stored in the link itself, and it opens in any browser on a phone or a computer.
How is the friendship score worked out?
Each friend guesses your answer to the same 10 questions. Every match is one point, so the score runs from 0 to 10. A perfect 10 is Soulmates, 8 or 9 is Best friends, 6 or 7 is Close friends, 4 or 5 is Good friends and anything lower is A new chapter.
Can I write my own questions?
Yes. While you make your quiz, tap Write my own question, type the question and four answers, and mark the true one. You can add up to three of your own questions next to the ready-made ones.
Can a friend take my quiz more than once?
Only the first try counts. If a friend opens your link again on the same device they see their result and the scoreboard instead of a fresh quiz, so nobody can keep guessing until they hit ten.
Does it work as a best friend test or a couples quiz?
Yes. The questions are about everyday habits, tastes and what-ifs, so the same quiz works as a best friend test or BFF test, and just as well for a partner, siblings, family or coworkers. Add a few of your own questions to make it fit.
Who can see my scoreboard?
Anyone who has your quiz link can see the names and scores on its scoreboard, so your friends can compare. Only you, on the device where you made the quiz, can open each friend's answers. Friends can use a nickname if they prefer.
