A free bubble popping game with virtual bubble wrap

This bubble popping game gives you a sheet of virtual bubble wrap that never runs out. Click or tap a bubble and it pops with a real-sounding snap. Swipe across a row to pop a whole line at once. There's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. Just open the page and start popping.

Every sheet also hides a picture. Each bubble you pop shows one coloured tile of it, so the image comes together as you go. It might be a landscape or one of the world's most famous paintings.

Features

Why is popping bubble wrap so satisfying?

Each pop is small, quick and certain. You press, it gives way, and you get a crisp sound right away. That kind of simple, repeatable action with an instant result is what makes fidget toys appealing, and bubble wrap is one of the oldest. Popping it here gives you the same small payoff without using up a real roll.

Frequently asked questions

Is this bubble popping game free?

Yes. It runs in your browser for free, with no download and no account.

Is popping bubble wrap good for stress relief?

Many people find it calming. Each pop is a small, quick action with an instant sound, which makes it an easy way to take a short break. It is a game, not a treatment.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Tap or swipe with your finger. On Android phones that support it, each pop also gives a small vibration.

Does the bubble wrap ever run out?

No. When you finish a sheet you get a new one with a different hidden picture, as many times as you like.

What are the pictures under the bubbles?

Each sheet hides either a landscape that is drawn fresh every time, or one of 21 famous public-domain paintings such as The Starry Night and the Mona Lisa.

How do I get three stars?

Press Guess and name the hidden picture before 35% of the bubbles are popped, without a wrong guess.

Can I play without sound?

Yes. Use the speaker button at the top to mute it. You can also pick one of six pop sounds from the palette menu.
